How do these rank for solid/clarity and value in the scope world?
Seen the DMR3 for $1700 with 16% off, XRS for $2k, couple that with the 30% Bushnell mail in rebate, drops the price to nearly halfish.
Online reviews seem pretty promising, the 2 reticle options are kind of where things get complicated. The G4P is less clutter, the EQL is pretty busy, both seem usable with some learning.
Both seem to get very high marks on eye relief and eyebox at max power (21x and 36x for reference) that's usually where most scopes don't perform well.

I've never used the dmr or xrs but I know they get pretty good reviews on the rokslide droo tests which are pretty violent so they rank well for durability. I think they're not overly popular since they say bushnell on them.

I would be curious to see a side-by-side comparison between these Bushnells and DNT The One.

My first fancy high-mag scope was a Bushnell DMR2. Since that time, the market has moved forward considerably, to the point that I don't see any of these Bushnells at long range rifle shooting matches.

Because I haven't seen the comparison, I would recommend you buy the DNT over the Bushnells.

I have one of the Arken SH4 6-24x50 34mm, it's not bad for a $500 scope, fairly bright and clear, but at 24x is not exactly friendly with the eyebox.
Pretty common with any of these lower end Chinese made scopes, I wouldn't hold the DNT to be much better with its higher magnification.
I'm kind of done with the budget Chinese optics to be honest, I'd never drop close to $1k on one that's for sure lol.
The Japanese DMR3 for $1700 would be under $1000 after the MIR and the 16% sale. It's pretty tempting.

You know the other side of the market (Arken), that's good. So fair to try another brand at similar price.

Remember to factor in that you pay tax before the MIR and there's no refund on the tax. So your final cost needs to factor that in.

It's only 5% GST here, so not a big difference
