this one is g2dmr ffp mil/mil
had it for a while never bothered to measure the clicks up and down....
just had it remounted and re-remounted flipping the rings and finally going for low rings because the damn thing only had 5 mils up and 14.8 down with a 300 yard 0 (which is basicly ~1.4 mils up from bore sight)

now its just bore sighted ill have to go shoot it this weekend to see where it lands but with bore sight alone i have ~8.5 mils up left
not happy

By the sounds of it, this is most likely a mounting issue and not the scope.

With respect to only having 19.8 mils vs. the full 24, do you know if the reticle is centered in the middle of the windage travel? With any scope, if the erector tube is off to one side or the other, you will lose some elevation as the inner erector tube cannot physically travel all the way up to the top of the outer tube, before hitting the sidewall.

With respect not having all of your elevation available after boresighting, this very common. This is precisely why mounts with forward declination (i.e. 20 moa or 40 moa rails) are used when mounting scopes for long range shooting.

Forward declinating mounts are readily available and will allow you to preserve your elevation to reach out further.

its common to be missing some.
to have the 70% down isnt normal.
the scope has been remounted professionally 3 times with 2 different kinds of rings.
im taking it to the range this weekend to give it a proper zero. i cant be a month without a scope right now so itll have to be a 20-40 moa base depending on what the zero truly is at 300 yards and how many mils down i have left.
bushnell has already accepted to take it in for service but yeah i either need to buy another scope or wait till i cant afford bullets to send it in....(sounds like a new scope lol)
as far as being centered in the tube it is.
i passed this lil bugger down from my 338 lapua in hopes of getting a bigger one for the lapua. i was gonna wait till ive stretched the 6.5 as far as i can consistently and accurately take it but yeah....
