bushnell elite

whats the deal with the newer bushnell they are calling elite without any numbers following ? comparable to the 3200? 4200?

i was told by a gunstore employee the bushnell is combining the elite series[3200 4500 and 6500 i think] into one elite series. they are also offering the elite tactical now. the 65oo's are a decient scope.

I dod't know if it was this gun store employee, but you are close with your answer. The 6500 is still the same designation but the 3200 and 4200 are now simply Elite's. Way to tell the difference is in the level of magnification, ex. 3-9, 4-12, 5-15 (3x) are 3200 and 2.5-10, 4-16 (4x) etc are 4200 to the best of my knowledge.

Seems there were some upgrades or changes to certain models as well with the new # changes.

the elite tactical only means they have external knobs(no caps on turrets)
