Bushnell excursions

Hey

I just ordered a pair of bushnell excursions 8x42 EX binos and I was wondering what you guys thought of them? they were $139 down from 199 and I think I got the last pair from frontier because they don't seem to be on the site after my purchase.. I read in another post here that they were good bang for their buck so while I wait to try them myself I was wondering if anyone else had any experience with them!

My son picked up a pair used at a gun show a couple years ago. I like them as they are compact enough to wear on a harness without being too heavy. The eye relief is excellent, I don't need to take my glasses off to use them. I find the clarity and light transmission to be all I need for most hunting. For knock around useful binoculars they are excellent value.
 
I own a set I picked up for just under what you've been offered.
Nice binos.
Only complaint so far is the fruck'in tether system will fail.
Nawt if, but when.
First time out on an elk hunt the blastitted springy-thang the wee tethers
clip into broke.
Called Bushnell when I got home and asked if they could send me a new set.
Warranty and I need to send them in.
Whut a PITArrrrrrrzse.
