Bushnell First Strike Red Dot Not Working

Bought a Bushnell First Strike Red Dot at an auction yesterday. Was advertised as "new in box', but it's not turning on with the battery inserted (I tested the battery on another red dot to ensure that it had charge).

Anyone had this issue with one of these? I'm regretting not sticking to a company with better warranty service, but it seemed like a good deal at the time. As I did not purchase this from an actual "store" I have no proof of purchase for warranty, so I'm dubious that I'd be able to send it back for repair/replacement.

Contact Bushnell Canada, they have very good customer service & will likely replace your defective unit.

Update: Sent back to Bushnell. Unit was replaced free of charge.
I've been getting away from Bushnell lately, but this was a positive customer service experience at least.

@marshall It seems like a decent red dot, although I have nothing to mount it on presently. I'm not a fan of the automatic turn-on when the cover is removed. I'd rather it had buttons like a Vortex Venom

@sushix2 Perhaps they're repairing yours instead of replacing it outright?
