Bushnell fixed power scopes.

Anyone use bushnell fixed power scopes on their rifles?

Dad had bought a 1885 in 22-250 with a fixed power 12 or 16 power banner, problem is that the gun was packed terribly and the eye piece was broken off in transport.

I'd want to replace it with what it came with, or should I put some thing else on it?

I don't think they'll do warrenty, anything over 25 years old. I don't think bushnell would be able to fix it?

Call Phil at Trace Scope Repair.
He may have some kibbles’n bitzs that may help you along.

Bushnell Banner is not exactly high end, and not worth the trouble of trying to fix it imo. I'd look for a good, used Leupold if it were mine.

I have that exact 16x bushnell banner. It is a great scope surprisingly. Eye relief is short but sits on a 222 currently.

I’d be looking for whoever packed it to replace it or refund at least 250$

Yeah, not worth enough to bother repairing probably.
I did, have a AO 12x leupold.
