I originally posted this question in the optics section but only got one reply,so I'll try here:does any one know if the Bushnell HDMR with the Horus reticle is available in Canada?I read that it is only available from Horus and they don't ship to Canada.

Have you seen the G2DMR reticle? I does the same thing, only it's not as busy. Given the Choice, that is the one I'd go with anyway...

Oh cool! They finally updated their website with the new G2DMR reticles and mil/mil configurations. Japanese LOW built, mil/mil, illumination, ffp, great reticle............no excuse for buying a pst now.

There are models with the G2DMR reticle that are illuminated.

The reticle is far more important than a zero stop and MOA is dying in the tactical field (good riddance!). A proper reticle like that lets you take full advantage of FFP. It gives you the choice of either dialing in the turrets for a shot or leaving them zeroed and using the reticle as a bullet drop compensator when you don't have time to. If you need to engage something quickly, you can just shoulder the rifle, start firing without having to fiddle with the turrets or magnification setting. This will hurt the Viper PST sales a lot unless Vortex starts offering that EBR-2B reticle in it. I wish they would, it's the only thing thats prevented me from buying one.
