Hey guys, there is a bushnell holo site for sale locally. Can't find much info. Does anyone know when they were last made, how much they were originally, and what a used one would be worth? Buddy is lookin for 275.00. Is 250 a reasonable offer.
:)

Depending on what year it is. I have had all the years of bushnell holo's and the only one I have kept was the early year model made in the USA. It is very robust and handel all 12 guage loads and even can handel my Desert Eagle 50 AE. Sad to say the later model's never did hold up quite as good as this one. I remeber on a turkey hunt one year I had there reversed model and the 2 AA batteries expelled out of the unit and smacked me in the face. So make a long story short try to post a pic of it or get a model number and some one will be able to advise you on a pricefor this unit.

If its a Bushnell Holo sight then it was built a few years ago by EO Tech before they were a big front line supplier to the military or LE. These had similar design without the outer sheild and NV settings. EO Tech couldn't keep up with the military/ LE demands so they dropped the association with Bushnell. Used I would think it's still worth a about $150-$200. Phil.

My holo sight is 12 yrs old. I paid $450. at the time. The older models at the time were much bigger and heavier. And they were letting them go for $225. just to get them off the shelf. The newer version that I got just came out at the time.

Mine has been mounted on a Ruger 44 mag carbine since day one. It has had several hundred rds through it with absolutely no issues with the holo sight thus far. It has always held it's settings, not ate batteries, or chucked them in my face when firing the gun.

If the sight is in good shape and working order 250 would sound reasonable to me. I have no idea what a new one under the new brand name is worth.

Hope this helps somewhat.

The seller won't budge from 275 and it is an hour+ drive, also he didn't sound overly personable on the phone. Weighed it out and will spend the little extra on a new unit. Thanks guys.
