Bushnell Holosight for open gun?

i have seen it...but the holosight is mighty large compared to the other open pistols i have seen...might be hard for use in ports. Maybe try a Gen. 1 like canuck223 had.
 
works well on a rifle, or shotty, but the other comments are very correct, that thing is big and bulky on a handgun. there is a lower profile Bushnell holosite, but not sure of anyone using that on a handgun.

Mine was mounted by Beven Grams from Grams Engineering...so it will be about 1/2 inch lower than that.

He doesn't use the mounting plate that goes into the dove tail...he mills out part of the slide.

I don't have access to mt webspace from here...I can email the picture to someone if they want to post it...it's is friggin sweet :D
 
Jerry Barnhart used the Bushell Holosight on his gun for a number of years and did very well with it. It never caught on in IPSC probably due to the stranglehold that C-More already had on the market.

Nevertheless, I do see them occasionally at matches, though even tube scopes are far more prevalent.
 
looks sweet...should be nice, i would think up close u dont have too worry as much for hitting PT due too the scope...

If the C-More was half as cool as the low set Docter sight you might get me into shooting Open... Although I'd still pass on the comped 38super bits... Just a sweet little red dot sight on the slide of a smooth .40 S*I.
 
Dansy...if you and the wife are going to show up at the next match...wearing red (for her) and Blue (for you) let me know and I'll bring my camera...

Nice looking guns...guess I have to email Dan and tell him to put a high polish on the sides of my slide...just to keep up

Actually mine is the red and Sylvie's the bleu one....won't probably shoot up there until the Nats....but then again I never know for sure...:)
