Alright guys! I put a holosight on my AR and it turns off after two shots. Will not turn back on. Then I get it home and it turns on fine. Is this a battery thing or something more serious?

Does anyone know where the manual for the holosight can be found in pdf format or otherwise?

Any help would be appreciated.

Which model do you have? I was thinking about getting the standard rectile #50-0021 Model 1. If its same one maybe I will hold off if there is a problem with them . Its 199.00 at nosale sports.

I think that is the one that I have. It was just the batteries so far as I know. I noticed that the reticle flashed when it was turned on which signals low battery. I am taking it out in a couple of days to try it again and I think it should work.

One other dumb question. I have the fixed triangular front sight on my AR and the recticle seems to barely be on the top of the front sight post and depending where I cheekrest sometimes lower. Is this normal or should I get a riser for it? Suggestions?

Great optic for the money. Never had a problem with mine but I've since gone to an Eotech.

The jury's still out to whether a riser is a necessity, but I wouldn't run without one. I've got a YHM cheapy, and it works just fine with my EOTech.

Are there any YHM riser distributors in Canada? I see even Yankee Hill is sold out of them at the moment. Will the ARMS BUIS mount on the riser as well?
