Bushnell Legend is not a one piece tube... is that bad?

Is the scope tube not being one piece a bad thing? It sounds like the Legend 5-15x40AO is a mid range scope and should have a one piece tube like some of the lower end scopes do.

Should this be a deterring factor in ym decision to go with this scope over the APV?

Thanks

I own that exact scope on my BVSS 300 wsm. I have been using it for two years developing loads with no problems at all. My only complaint is that the eye relief is not very forgiving. For the price it is a reasonable deal but I will be upgrading once I start on the 500yd plus shooting.

As for the APV there have been a lot of good reviews but I like to stick with the tried and true brands. Bushnell although not as good as Leupold has reasonable warranty service. If you want a scope for a hunting rifle that won't fail when you need it spend some money. Minimum on my hunting guns is 3200 series. If a scope fails at the range you won't loose any sleep so it depends on what you want your scope for.

It's not necessarily a bad thing that the tube is not one piece, but if it is a good scope, it is generally true that it could be a better scope if it were made with a one piece tube (e.g. stronger, more reliably waterproof.)
