The ups guy dropped off my scope this morning. I'm very pleased with the scope. The side parallax adj works well. The brightness is way more then I expected. The color and clarity rivals much more expensive scopes. Even in a dimly lit basement I can zoom in and still have the cross hairs in focus at 7 yards on 9 power. It's brighter sharper and clearer then my Bushnell elite 3200.
The 50 mm bell gives lots of eye relief.
Finish is even and clicks are loud and positive. Overall I'm very impressed with this scope for the $248.56 it cost shipped to my door. Easy to see why it won outdoor life great buy award.
I'll be adding more of these scopes

I'm thinking about trying out a higher mag model. Wish they had more reticle options

I believe they offer most of their line of reticles in the HD lineup. I have seen them advertised at least. It's just a matter of tracking one down at a shop in Canada for a reasonable price.

I know Amazon has the 4.5-14x44 model with a mil-dot reticle for right around $320 with free shipping. I've been eyeing it up now for a few weeks. Just don't have the funds at the moment :(

I bought a 4.5-14x 44mm Legend HD, for my .22-250.

Just put it in the mail and sent it back to Cabela's. Gonna exchange it for a Leupold.

I hated... HATED!! The stupid side parallax adjustment and eye-piece adjustment.

What use is a hunting scope that you gotta constantly fiddle with to focus!?

As far as that goes, I never could get the sum##### in focus anyway...

Made in China now, with Chinese QC LOL...the old Legends were made in the Philippines and were good solid scopes for the money.
A/O is not ideal for most hunting situations, and I wouldn't want it on an average bush gun.

The Legend 1.75-5x32mm has good clarity and brightness with ample eye relief. Got a couple of these. Seems to be a good value for the money (~$200).

One could reasonably assume that Bushnell has QA/QC standards to be followed so it really shouldn't matter where these are assembled.

I have mine on my 300 wm. I still like it. I may replace a lot of my scopes with these next time they go on sale. Now it's just picking which one for which gun.
