Hi everyone. I bought a Bushnell Yardage Pro Scout about 5-6 years ago as memory serves. This year I tried to use it, and it was dead. Optic lenses and magnification perfect, but the electonics ceased to work. New battery and still no dice.

Has anyone had issues like this before?

I am looking for stories, but more importantly has anyone had experience sending in gear to Bushnell Canada for repair? With the pre-determined costs of shipping and handling, I am seriously considering just buying a new rangefinder. I humbles me because this thing maybe gets an hour of use per year, and that is shooting really high. No water or dropping, it looks like new, but it does not work.

Would you send it away, or all it cost of hunting and buy new?

Call Bushnell and hear what they have to say?
If it's out of warranty, ask for the worst case scenerio
of cost.
I would ask them what the usual repair bill is on these and
make your decision on their reply.
It's just a phone call.
