The real question is, how do they stop people from submitting the rebate twice for the same scope, because for instance my DMR2 box has two UPCs.

Optic serial numbers?
Why would you want to cheat a company?
If caught, they would red flag your name and good luck with any future warranty support.................

I'm sure they record the UPCs that are claimed and will only send one check per UPC code
