Hi Folks,

Got a Savage 111 with a bundled bushnell scope that I was taking a look at this morning, and I noticed that the magnification ring rotates 360 degrees and wont adjust.

Is there any fix for this?

Thanks!

Or both. If you get a warranty replacement keep it as a spare, sell it to recoup some of the cost of the new one you bought, or - and this is really gunnutz - buy another gun for the excess scope!

This.
Rifle season for deer less than 6 weeks away, moose even sooner. Buy a new one and get it sighted in. Then sell the replacement or repaired scope when it arrives.

The scope isn't worth the freight charges of sending it in.
Easier to lift the lid of the garbage can and relieve your frustrations there.

Now do yerself a favour and find a Leupold.

I had a bushnell/111 combo.
I had a bad hunting season where I could drop anything even those I was right in the kill zone and the scope had been sighted in previous.
Turns out, the cross hairs were busted. Don’t ask how it happened, but on the horizontal the hairs didn’t match up at all. Didn’t even join at the vertical cross.
Tossed the scope cause, well it’s a bushnell and it’s not worth even making the call to bushnell over, and went out and bought a Luepold. Haven’t missed since.
