I have a Bushnell Banner scope. I can get get it to zero. After I shoot a few shots it goes way left. I have to adjust using the windage adjustment to get it to zero again but goes way left again after a few shots.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks.

It's a long shot, but if you have windage adjustable bases the adjustment screw may be backing out. Another thing to check is if your scope is slipping in the rings. Neither take much effort to check, but chances are your scope is pooched.

just ship it back to bushnell- if it's not under warranty it'll cost 10 bucks for the "inspection fee' - of course, you'll grow old waiting for the replacement

As Dogleg said I would take a good hard look at your mounts and rings before I would send it back . I would even try to remount everything , it sounds like something is loose

That's funny, the Banner I had did something much similar, while your waiting for the warranty replacement or repair, you might want to buy yourself a Leupold for the time being:D

A banner vs A leupold ............ kinda like compairing onions to bananas wouldent you say?

no it's more like comparing trash to gold, plus I was being a bit sarcastic, but if gunner did buy a Leupold in the mean time, I'm sure gunner103 wouldn't bother with the Bushnell ever again. Besides Gunner103 going to need a scope in the mean time as the warranty depot will probably take 18 months or more as it took for my warranty issues with Bushnell that is why I did this to the last Bushnell that puked on me,

no waiting for warranty this way, just done.

Have a great day:)

Thanks for all the help everyone. I sent it back. Not getting my hopes up. Will probabily end up purchasing another scope. I guess serves me right for cheaping out. Thanks.

I sent a bushnell in last year, I was told 6 weeks before it was in their system. I was at about 5 5/7 weeks when there was a box at home with a new scope in it, oddly enough it seemed to have the same problem as the old one. I pulled and remounted everything and my scope problem went away.

I have onle ever had one bushnell scope fail mined you the rifle fell from an improperly closed case fron chest hight to concrete ladning on the scope benting the tube.

And one time a guy with a lepould could see antlers in his scope when I could not, mind you it was 10 min after shooting light and neither of us are pochers. In 20+ years of hunting and scopes a bushnell has never cost me a shot.

I took all your advice and sent it back.

Today I recieved a new Banner scope from them in the mail. I will try it out hopfully it works better.
