Anybody can ball park this scope for me please? I am not having much luck finding what it's worth online.

It's a brand new 1.5-4.5 X 20, made in Japan, 70-2400.

I have found that if it's made in Japan it would have been made by Bausch & Lomb and there should be a BL logo on it but I don't see any logo.

Thanks

Look on the bottom of the scope where you found / read the 70-2400 Made in Japan. Are there B L letters inside of an oval?

BTW, if it was made in Japan, it was made by Light Optical Works for Bausch & Lomb, not made by Bausch & Lomb, as the Bausch & Lomb plant was in New York & the last scopes they actually made there were steel tube, with external windage & elevation adjustable mounts back in the early 60's.

The Bushnell Scopechief IV (you have VI, but I suspect in error) was a very good scope. They were indeed made in Japan. I bought two of them (3-9x40) back in the day (+20 years ago) and they were +$250 then. What a NIB old stock one is worth today....well, I guess whatever someone is willing to pay. I'd say it would be a good purchase for $100.

70-2400 on the bottom and no BL in an oval as mentioned.

Thanks for the replies guys, don't know if I will keep it or not yet. I just didn't want to get screwed if I decide to sell it. I got lucky this summer, almost gave away a camera and it turned out the lense worthed 200$ I was hoping to be as lucky as last time but 100$ ish is alright.

PM me if anybody is interested.

Cheers
