just sent my bushnell Scopechief 1.5+4.5 for repairs Bushnell Outdoor Products
140 Great Gulf Drive - unit b
Vaughn, Ont
L4K5W1..still waiting for a reply from the service center ,,i hope they can repair it .should i be worried about the outcome ??

I have always had success with Bushnell warranty ... if they can't fix an old scope you usually get a new one.

Are you sure about the model?

Scopechief is an excellent scope with what originally was a 20 year warranty and extended to a lifetime...

Sportview was the cheapest scope with a 1 year warranty and extended to a lifetime.

Never heard of a Sportchief?
 
If you want your scope repaired I would recommend Trace Scope Repair. Bushnell will likely offer a scope they deem equivalent rather than repair yours. Phil at Trace repaired a vintage Scopechief for me and I am very satisfied with the results.
 
Bushnell sent me a new pair of binoculars when mine failed a few years back. They were about 10 years old or so but they were still in production.
 
when i sent my foggy old scopechief in the said that they no longer service that model and offered a resonible credit towards a new scope or return my scope chief if there was a sentiment attached. I took the upgrade. Get the best glass you can afford. bushnell makes good scopes in my opinion.
