A friend wants to sell me his Bushnell Sportsview scope with mounts for $20.00. Not knowing much about scopes is it worth it?

Hard to get shafted for 20 bucks but I suppose it's possible. Not much risk for that kind of money. At least you'll have the rings.

Well, I bought it, like everyone said , can't be bit @ $20. No scratches, marks, very good condition. Optics clear nothing odd.

The info on the scope tube......6x40 Waterproof is obvious, does anyone know what the other info means? The numbers 74-0640-0 AA
