Bushnell trophy 5-15x40 on a 22LR

Any one got the above scope on a 22 .just wondering what the mil dots work out to if sighted in at 25yds with the crosshairs.

Depends on your ammo and scope height.

Roughly 2 mils (~7moa) to 100yds though, assuming 40gr SV and 1.5" respectively.

Thanks I am hoping to get to the range on the week end.I have it mounted on a savage mk 2 and I will be shooting xpert hv 1280 ft/sec.

One mill at 100 yards will be 3.6"

Its kind of a course measure for holdovers with a 22, but its better than nothing. I agree that 2 mills at 100 yards will get you in the ballpark. Probably a tad high for me when I zero at 50 yards. Certainly good enough for a gopher that's hopefully standing up straight.
