I am thinking about buying the Bushnell Trophy Riflescope- 4-12AOx40mm DOA 600
What does "AO" mean?
What is everyones opinion of this scope?
The Trophy series uses Amber-Bright high contrast lens coatings to help you discern deer brown from all the other browns in the woods. Multicoated optics gather maximum available light at dawn and dusk. Rugged one piece tube is 100% waterproof, shockproof and fogproof. ¼ M.O.A. fingertip adjustable windage and elevation turrets. 1" tube all models (except 1.5-6x44mm). Choose from matte, silver, gloss and All-Purpose HD camo finish. Available in standard MX, #4, Illuminated Dot #4 and the new DOA (250) & DOA (600) reticles. Please see chart below.
Bushnell DOA Reticle
Dramatically extend your effective range and judge a buck's trophy quality with the new Dead On Accurate (DOA) reticle technology. The extended yardage aiming points enable you to shoot with lethal precision out to 600 yards with a centerfire rifle (DOA 600) or 250 yards with a muzzleloader (DOA 250). The Rack Bracket reference lines help you accurately gauge the size of a whitetail deer and mule deer antlers at distances that make it difficult with standard optics. Both these features all add up to drop-dead certainty and fewer excuses. Recoil proof etched glass DOA reticles are available on a selected range of riflescopes to handle virtually any hunting situation.
