Bushnell Trophy XLT DOA 600

I currently have a Bushnell Trophy XLT DOA 600 on my big game rifle. I love the scope, and it performs very very well. Im looking at putting this same scope on a .223 savage for coyote hunting. Im wondering with the different muzzle velocities, and tragectories, will the DOA 600 reticle still work on the
.223 cal rifle or is the DOA 600 reticle only suited for a big game caliber rifle. Its 4x12x40 power scope as well.

also, if someone knows another decent 4x12x40 or similar power scope in the same price range, id be open for suggestions.

The Nikon coyo special 4-12X40 is what you're looking for...check it out at WWS.

Check out the redfield 4-12x40 with accurange reticle. A few $$ more but glass is noticably clearer than the bushnell xlt.

i would like to know however, will the DOA 600 reticle still work with a different caliber rifle?

it'll WORK but you'll have to adjust the mag setting and figure out which setting lines up the marks for what drops. those reticles are usually just approximate anyways.

but ya, +1 on the redfield with accurange reticle. much much nicer. i'd rather pay for clear big bright views than cluttered reticles
