Hello, just looking for you guys's opinion on something.
I recently purchased a bushnell trophy xlt doa250 in camo to match my rifle, 300 mag. never really sighted it in for distance, tried it yesterday and it seems like its hitting all over the place, looked at the scope in the cabelas book, and the doa250 is for a muzzle loader, do you's think there is too much recoil from a 300 mag that would cause the scope to hit all over on the target or should i try to sight it in a little better? or because its for a muzzleloader, its no good for centerfire? thanks!

:bangHead:

I have one on my Savage MLII(minus the DOA feature). Im amazed that it has withstood the recoil of a 300 gr bullet at over 2000 fps with smokeless powder.
But it may have failed. I had an Elite 3200 fail after approximately 20 rd at 30-06 recoil levels. If you are shooting off a solid rest, mounts and rings are tight, known good ammo and groups are erratic I would suspect the scope.
