Bushnell Trophy XLT

Any opinions on the Bushnell XLT model 73-4120 which is a 4-12x40 Matte, Multi-X reticle?

I would be using it on a M96 Sporter at 4x for deer and 12x for paper. I presently have a fixed 4x.

Meh. It's ok and made in Korea but I'd check out a similar leupold or redfield as well

For your purposes, I'd be tempted to spend a few extra $$$ and go for an Elite 3200 3-9x40. P&D has the 3200's for $215.

Just did a side by side comparison of the xlt and the redfield this morning as I was thinking of getting an xlt as well. Took them outside the shop and with them both on 3x, the redfield blew it away. Focusing on a sign close to 200yds away the xlt could not make out the words but easily did with the redfield.
