bushnell trs-25

so i got a trs-25 recently and looked closely at the front side with the reflective glass.

it dosent look like its glued in flat but slanted. not sure if this is normal or deffective. anyone with a trs-25, any imput would be appreciated

It's that way on purpose , to cut down on glare.

It's intentional, but I believe the reason is so that the red dot reflects properly along the axis of the sight and towards your eye. If the glass were perfectly vertical the red dot, which is projected from the bottom of the sight, would be reflected up towards the top of the unit.
