I like but can one get a lower ring for it?
I find their red dots often mount too high on my rifles. :(

I agree , I have 2 of the TRS-25 its one of the lowest mounting red dots . This new one looks like a good height for on top of a flat top AR though .
 
I think I'm going with the TRS 1x25 (real tree).
If I can find one locally.

30mm rings seem to be hens teeth in our area.
 
I picked mine up at Lebaron's back in July. Was around $139, a little more than I paid for the TRS-25.

The sight hole on the ring is off-center and made for an awkward iron sight picture. I swapped it for a Millet ring which is a bit better, but still a little on the high side. My preference is still TRS-25.
