I have had a couple of dealings with Bushnell's warranty serivce recently and will say it has been nothing but excellent. The first one was regarding an AR series scope I bought here on the EE. When I received it there was damage that was not suppose to be there. Long story short, I contacted Bushnell and explained it to them, including the fact that I was not the original buyer. They said send it back and they would replace it under their no questioms asked warranty. 2 weeks later I had the new scope.

Second dealing. I had a couple of Banners, one that the windage turret crapped out on and another Banner that I think lost its dry nitrogen fill, there was a haze on one of the inner lenses that was really noticeable when the illuminated reticle was activated. I sent them off last week and Canada Posts tracking stopped updating on the 30th with the last being 'out for delivery'. I contacted Bushnell yesterday, 03 April, to find out if they had received it or not or if it was still in the possession of Canada Post. They confirmed that they in fact did have it and that they would be replacing both of them. The guy I was talking to said that the 6-24 was in stock and would be sent out in a couple days but the 3-9 was on back order and would be sent out once they received them, probably in a couple weeks. That same evening I checked my mailbox and found 2 delivery attempt notices, CP tried delivering that afternoom but I was in bed and had my phone on silent (front door call button is routed through the phones and they called at 1400).

This afternoon I went to the post office and picked up my packages and found that it was my replacement scopes. 4 day turnaround from the time they received my damaged ones til the time I got the replacements. Nice. Upon opening the first box, which was shorter and wider than the other, I found that they sent me 2 3-9x40s, I only sent one in for warranty... I checked the shipping receipt and it said only 1 under quantity, so it appears they sent a second by miatake. I will contact them tomorrow and advise them of the error and see if they want me to return the extra.

Overall, Bushnell's warranry service is top notch..

Great story Joe and thanks for the upmanship on honesty.
Bushnell sure won't forget it.

And my scope arrived there this afternoon.
Be curious to see what they decide.

Where is the Bushnell warranty center located in Canada?
I need to send in a pair of binoculars that gave up the ghost on a cold winter day.

I broke the lens on a TRS-25 with flying brass. I told them it was my fault and they repaired/replaced for free.

I prefer to buy Bushnell.

That is really good warranty service.
Well I will send in my bino's and see what they can do for me.

Just got off the phone with Bushnell and she said I could just keep the extra scope and that she would 'make a note on my file for my honesty'. Another thumbs up for Bushnell..

Not much of a "repair" department if they just hand out new scopes instead of repairing the old one. Says more about the scope than the warranty.....

Considering how the last 2 I sent back were their low end line, probably ~$150 each retail now, it's probably cheaper to replace than to repair.

A while ago, I purchased 5 "Bushnell HOLOsight XLP Red Dot Scope Riflescope".

After 13 months, one of them broke. I contacted Bushnell and they told me that those units only carried a one year warranty. I told them that I was willing to pay for the repairs. They replied that they would not service the unit even if I paid for it.

As a loyal customer, they did offer to sell me a "Bushnell Trophy 1X MP Tactical Red Dot Sight" direct from them at a reduced price. When I checked around, Le Baron Outdoors was selling the "Bushnell Trophy 1X MP Tactical Red Dot Sight" cheaper at their regular price than Bushnell wanted at their reduced price.

The fact is that they still offered a solution that would have been a few bucks cheaper if I would not have been close to a Le Baron store.

While there are better quality scopes out there, Ive found that Bushnell can't be beat for their outstanding service. I have taken broken scopes in a couple times so far, and have left with a brand new scope in hand.

My days of dealing with bushnells warranty are long behind me. 3 month turnarounds, repeated breakage of the same scopes, and warranty denied because of age. Some offers to sell me a replacement for over market value. I wouldn't use a bushnell to club a fish, and if I never see another one it'll be too soon.

Bushnells are the scopes the damned are forced to use in Hell.

I've had Bushnell scopes all my life. I've returned a dozen or more for myself, friends and acquaintances in nearly 40 years of shooting and hunting.
Every one was either repaired or replaced !! That's not counting a few trail cameras (Tasco and Bushnell) This is the reason I've stayed with them...trust what you know.

*********** My first Leupold purchase went from bad to worse. he scope fogged and the reticle came loose...I sent it back, they (Korth) fixed it and when I got it..someones thumb print was on the INSIDE of the lens ! Once again I sent it back, and they cleaned the lens but after that...it always fogged up. I got fed up with making Canada post rich, sooo I sold it and never bought another since...nor will I !

Couple of months ago I got my first look at the new Bushnell Trophy Extreme line of scopes. 30 mm tubes, HD Rainguard, side parallex ..I was VERRRY impressed, so I bought it..... 4-16X44 I believe the glass is as good and clear as the 3500 / 4200 series !
Fact is, I was SO impressed, I just purchased two more !! Another 4-16 and a 6-24X50 with the 800 DOA reticule !!
If you haven't had a chance to look thru one yet, try to. I think you'll be equally as impressed !!
