Bushnell xrs3 or nightforce nx8?

I'm looking to upgrade my target rifle's scope (currently its a bushnell elite 6500 2.5-16x50, mildot ret. With moa turrets). I was looking at the new bushnell dmr3 (3.5-21×50, about 2460ish after taxes) when a co-worker mentioned that he could let go his unused nx8 (2.5-20×50)for 2400.

Ive been behind nightforces before so i know its a top notch scope, but has anyone used or bought a dmr3? Im just looking for some real world opinions here before i throw the cash around.

(The gun is a tikka t3x ctr in 308, sitting in an mdt chassis....purely a recreation target gun)

I do like the Bushys , I have the 2.5-16 you have
and also a DMR W/ G3 reticle.

The DMR is on my 1710 HB GRS, it has good glass , nice
sharp turret clicks & firm power throw lever.

Depending on the target & distance with FFP the
reticle is a little thick tho easy to adapt to .

I've not shot with the NF , only didn't care for the
whole ocular piece rotating with power throw.

Check out the EE some DMR's come up at a good price.

I have the dmr2 pro which is like the dmr3 except for 25yrd paralax and locking diopter, they also say they have a 2% increase in light gathering. The dmr2 pro is excellent.nf price was never in my reach.oh the dmr2 tunnels at 3.5 to 4.i understand the dmr 3 does as well.
