Butler Creek Magazine Colour

I've got several 25rd 10/22 mags and would like to colour them either flat black or magpul flat dark earth..
What's a good product/paint to use - I previously painted one with Testors model paint, but it goes on pretty thick and has a smell still

A friend had clear butler creek mag that he painted black with -- krylon fusion for plastic--. Put it on in light coats, looked good when he finished it and I think it's holding up good. Got it at CTC or Walmart.

Second that, Krylon fusion is the way to go, lots of stock at every Canadian Tire.
