Anyone have success with the plaslic lip mags? I have read a bit and I recall one fellow saying he built up the rear area of the mag with epoxy to snug up the fit. I fired about 300 rnds yesterday with the factory mags, no problem. Used the plastic mags, 2-3 jams each time I loaded it up. I have a good variety of aftermarket internals now, and it works great until I use these mags. Are the metal lips better?

I have a hot lips mag, and a steel lips mag. The hot lips has been just as reliable as the steel lips for me.

I find they both suck for reliability. I will be trying the epoxy addition to the back, then filing down. I would be more interested in the Tactical Inc Mags. But the price justifies my attempts to mess with the steellips and hot lips first. The mags themselves are fine. I find all of mine feed perfectly if I use one hand to push the bottom of the mag forward when firing.

i tried a Hot Lips mag for a bit. jam jam jam. haven't tried the steel lips. i bought a Ramline, and it only jams a few times once it gets really dirty. a quick cleaning and problem solved.

i do want to get about 4 of those tactical inc mags though.
