I just wanted to know if the Butler Creek folding stocks can fit an after market .920 steal lr barrel. After i get my new stock thats going to be the next thing to buy. If it does not does anyone know any other cool stocks that will take a new barrel. Im trying to go for more of a tactical look. I was looking at the tapco t6 stock but from what iv seen on there web site it will not take the bigger barrels.

You'll have to go in there and make that inlet bigger. I've seen a picture of one done for a bull barrel. I sort of think it's a bit counterproductive to put a heavy barreled action meant for precision shooting into a folding stock that doesn't allow for a good cheek weld though...but to each their own. I just switched my 10/22 RR back to its factory wood stock last night because while it looked cool with the BC folding stock...I didn't much like it for actual shooting.

1022 heavy barrel folder

I modded a BC folder to take a heavy barrel, was quick and easy.
Works great and looks cool IMO.

I also did the same to a Choate folder too.

Email me for pics.....posting here is a PITA!
