Buttler Creek flip ups are not the same anymore....

When did Butler Creek change their flip up caps? I just bought a 1" flip up cap and comparing it to my older ones the plastic is half as thick where it goes around the scope!
Night and day.
I did a quick search and it seems others are complaining about breaking their flip up scope covers where in the past they never had issues with butler creek.
Looks like something changed at Butler Creek and they have cheapened their product while keeping the price the same.

You just described the evolution of every product made, only most of the time the price increases...

Price goes up, quality goes down because the manufacturing is sent to China or the like. Happening to every product made it seems.

Like when they started making "wagon wheel's"(the snack) smaller in the 70's....I get it.
I'm just trying to figure out when it happened to see if I can track down some old stock somewhere!
