Out put on the big guys is generally 2 minutes, no smell really unless you are holding onto it. Mainly just a burning scent, as for residue, yes it does in direct contact area. In the smoke screen not really.
Non-toxic correct, no issue at all breathing in the smoke, it builds a pretty decent cloud!
