Buy SKS tapco stock and return to Canada?

Is it legal to purchase a SKS Tapco stock in the US and return to Canada with it? Do either country forbid it/have laws about bringing just a stock into and/or out of that country? Info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Anyone can correct me but i believe that the stock is considered a firearms part and as such, unless you have the proper documentation to import firearms parts, you are not allowed to.

As far as I know, it's a no go. I am going to the states this weekend and was hoping to bring back some goodies like that. I asked here on the forums and was informed that if it bolts to a firearms it's a no go. Now it looks like I'm only going to get a holster and maybe some cleaning supplies instead. Stupid export laws. Booo!!!

Check with the sponsors on this site. There are several that carry Tapco, and you don't have to worry about possible violations/hassles
