Hey all, I want to get back into shooting more and am looking for the best places to buy 9mm and .45ACP ammo in bulk (500-1,000 rounds or more), so who has the best prices and service?

I am used to shooting Winchester white box so anything equivalent would work.

Thanks in advance.

honestly the best thing to do is go thru the top banner and search there. I know SFRC, Canammo and Epps all have some competitive pricing on ammo. Best to see who has any in stock.

The cheapest place I've ever found .45 and 9mm came from my reloading room. (Sorry) PM Brad Parsons from Customer reloading services he has factory reloads for a very good price. Shipping from Maple Ridge BC

Lots of site sponsors have good deals, keep in mind that the price of shipping is expensive. Canadaammo has free shipping on orders over a $100, something to think about

It's actually simply "Custom Reloading Service"

Shipping will be the painful part. But since shipping is based on weight and distance if you're only shipping from the lower mainland the cost should be pretty decent.

By the way, for most of us 1000 isn't "bulk".... :D And you may find that shipping 2000 to 4000 isn't much more pricey than only a single 1000. If that's the case it could be worth biting the bullet, so to speak, and stock up. Otherwise it may be the same price to simply buying a box of 1000 from one of the island stores.

My teachers always told me to proof read my work... I never listened lol

Try Henry at Budget Shooting Supplies. Honestly though, it would be cheaper to buy a reloading set up.

This is true, depending on how much you intend on shooting. My Dillon 550 will have paid for itself in another 1000 rounds of 9mm.

If you shoot 1000 per year, probably not worth it. If you shoot 500 per month, definitely worth it.

Thanks for the good info guys and I'll shop around. I have no desire to get into reloading, neither have the space or the time for it. Are there any brands of ammo I should avoid, I've shot mostly Winchester, American Eagle, and Remington.

I agree, Reloading may be cheap but it's dirty and time consuming. If you reload as a hobby or have a need for really custom loads then I totally understand it, but if it's just to save money you have to ask yourself what your time is worth, plus the added exposure to your family of deadly chemicals floating around your house from your reloading setup in the basement.
