Buying a lower parts kit without trigger assembly?

Are there Canadian dealers that are doing this? I'm interested in getting the lower parts kit, but putting in a geissele instead and not interested in having a trigger I'll never use.

Yes, I just bought one without a trigger because I had an SSA-E. I got mine from Questar. Fabsports also has a Tactical Innovations LPK on sale for $79.95 (it incudes the trigger but for that price how can you go wrong).

The stock triggers that come in a standard LPK represent such a small total of the cost of a LPK that it is probably not worth sweating over. Buy the LPK that you want and have the trigger parts on hand for spares. You do keep some spare parts on hand, right?

I call this an LCK. Lower Completetion Kit.

I'm working on building a lower right now, and was just consulting a buddie who is doing the same.
We both have our choice trigger and grip, so I had complied this list for us to order what else that we need.

If you want to get tricky. You can sub the Detent Springs with flint springs from a Mini BIC, and the Safety spring with a flint spring from a normal BIC but cut in half, then the other half you can use on a front sight.

Oh and of course, you're still going to need a stock and tube, but those are usually not included with LPKs.

DPMS makes a trigger spring and small part kit that includes everything except the trigger. It also includes a firing pin...... Iirc it's called a "small parts kit".

I remember ordering one from brownelles, damed if I can remember what the part # is.....
