Buying Ammo

Hi,

If you have the option to buy UMC 223 55gr @ $9.5/20 rounds METAL CASE and

WINCHESTER white box 55gr $13/20 rounds FULL METAL JACKET , strictly for plinking, which one would you choose ( price is not an issue).

I'd pick whichever shot better out of my gun.

If they shot equally well, then I'd buy the cheaper one.

If the edge in accuracy does not matter to you (blasting milk jugs or whatever and don't care how small the groups are), the cheaper one will give you more shots for your money.

I have used both extensively in my 700P and found the rem to be well under an inch @ 100 meters whereas the winchester was like throwing styrofoam with groups in the 3 " range but every rifle is different

Who carries the ammo
