Buying ammo

I'm looking online for a case of 9mm ammo for a Sig.

I've been looking all over the internet, but am coming up kinda short.

I have two questions on this:

where would i be able to find a place online (preferably Quebec, or ontario).

Also, what are the regs on importing ammunition from the US?

"...importing ammunition from the US..." You can bring in 5000 rounds for personal use with no fuss. The U.S. Dept of State's export permit, that requires a Canadian import permit to get, will be required. Likely not worth the trouble for 9mm though.
 
Keep in mind that while you may order ammunition from the states, with the proper permits as suggested above, you can not buy ammunition in the states, because an alian is not permitted to possess ammunition in the USA.

Just another bizarre part of the puzzle! :(
 
I recently dropped $235.00 on 1k .45ACP from BDX in Beautiful Black Diamond, AB. 9mm will be a lot cheaper than that. I picked up my order, so delivery wasn't an issue, but we did discuss it, and it was reasonable. Kurt is a good guy, the brass was all once-fired, and the multitude of headstamps is kinda neat.

Kurt's prices are the best I could find. The ammo is great - very consistent and clean.

Even more bizzare is that you can possess ammo if you have a hunting licence for the US.
 
Will Cabela's ship to Canada? Last I heard, they won't because of the paperwork. Also, ordering from the States, don't forget the shipping and customs/brokerage fees. You'll most likely be better off buying Canadian
