Hi all, I wan't to try David Tubb's Final Finish System but can't get/find it in Canada.
Does anyone sell it in Canada?
I have heard many good comments and wan't to try it.

It will void any warranty on new barrels...

I kind of guessed that and am only using it on a factory 243 Win Remington barrel.
I'm still extremely curious and have the perfect occasion to test it now at a low cost.
I would never shot abrasive bullets throught a match barrel (or even a MIL-spec chromed barrel)

Tubs healing powder

You can do the same thing , if you must, simply buy a can of very fine valve grinding compound 1200 or 1500 grit. Use an undersize brush and a patch wrapped around it covered with this compound. However many strokes through your barrel until you have gained confidence in your barrel. Geeeze the whole thing sends shivers down my spine.
Enjoy. Bill

I have used The tubbs system on 4 rifles with new out of box barrels. Ranging from 300wm, 30/06, 270 win. In all cases you will see some throat movement. I have seen 10-30 thou. I believe the throat elongation from new barrels may be attributed to rough reamer marks, but have not confirmed with a bore scope (need to get one some day)
In all cases, I have not completed a full treatment compliment. I have reduced to 5 shots with each compound with good results.

In all cases, rifle cleaning becomes easier as advertised.
In all cases, pushing a cleaning patch through becomes easier, as expected.
In all cases, accuracy was not impacted. However, no exceptional accuracy improvements occured. All my treated rifles shot sub MOA prior to treatment and remained so after treatment.

So, I would summarize that the talk walks the walk. A good tool for a rough bore. But suggest you confirm your barrels accuracy prior to treatment to really guage whether you want to spend the bucks or void your warranty. I have purchased from the Tubbs website with success.
