Hey I'm going to buy an AR-15, thought I'd get your guys opinions. First, Let me know some of the brands you guys have had good luck with? Also let me know who you guys deal with, Customer service/ Support / Warranty Support is very important to me. I know that I want the 20" barrel and the .223 caliber, aswell as a quad rail. thats it so please share some ideas with me, I'd greatly appreciate it.... BTW I have no budget, anything goes (within reason)

Rock River Arms
- 1in9 barrel twist (arguably the best all around twist)
- Removable muzzle break
- Chrome lined barrel
- Tight tolerances, quality build
- Two stage trigger
- 1" MOA at 100 Yards out of the box
- Wylde Chambering

Questar.ca , they "actually" answer emails.

You'll need some mags. and there are a few guys selling 5/30s in the Equipment Exchange here. ($35ea.)

You might want a sight like an EOTECH OR AIMPOINT.
BUIS work though.

I would not buy a STAG because of the muzzle brake. The RRA is threaded, the STAG is not.

...just a few things I would consider.

Here's a review.

I'd go for the RRA from Mark or Stag from AE. It depends on what they have instock. I'd recommend you pass on the UTG stuff and get quality accessories like Troy, LMT, or DD.

I was going to recomend watching the EE. Quite a few 20" Colts have gone through there lately. But if you've got no ceiling, then I'd stick with the recomendations above.

re: Tri- rail

I bought a Sabre Defence XR15 A4 (high quality copy of M16A4) from Wolverine Supplies. Rifle was approx $2200 incl tax and shipping to my door. They will be a bit more now with our low dollar. From my experience and past ownership of other AR platforms, I believe that Sabre Defence are one of the very best! I put them on par if not slightly ahead of Colt. Yes, I do have plenty of experience with Colt products.

I run this particular rifle with a Knights Armament M5 RAS (quad rail) forend. Again, you cannot get better than Knights for modular rail systems. For optics I use a Trijicon TA31 RCO A4 ACOG with Docter Optic red dot on winged mount above ACOG. The red dot is for enhanced CQB but the ACOG can also be used quite well for this purpose as well because my particular model utilizes Bindon aiming concept of both eyes open. I find the DOC easier to use for CQB though. I run a Matech BUIS as well. The way my rifle is setup exactly resembles a USMC M16A4. To replicate my weapon would cost in around $5000 now with all above mentioned accessories.

Wolverine Supplies will be getting more Sabre Defence rifles in around June/July I have been told. If you want an excellant starting point to build something spectacular go with Sabre Defence. You can add the goodies later on.

Welp since nobody really replied with advice, I'm guna assume that the 3 AR's recommended are the top three.... Thanks to those who responded.

Don't assume anything, you know what they say about assuming.
Just like bolt rifles you can custom build an AR that will be far superior to anything on the market that is production.
We are about to turn the AR market on its head, you may want to be slow on the spending for a little longer.:D
