Buying first restricted firearm in Manitoba, Just wondering what the steps are? I am buying a handgun from Wolverine Supplies..
I already have a handgun membership at a shooting range

Get your long term ATT. Ask your gun club for help with this. Your gun supplier should be able to get you your short term ATT and transfer of possession. Whatcha getting'?

I am buying a Smith & Wesson M&P .40 S&W Carry and
Range Kit.

Nice!!! I just brought home my S&W M&P9 Range kit. Two days to transfer,register and get the short term ATT. Make sure you get the seller to call for the transfer while you are there and ask for the STATT. Paid a little more this time cause I waited to buy. Kit was $659 now $679. Any how it's stored and waiting for the next range session.

Just received my first handgun today!

Just received my first handgun today! Also got my LTATT and registration papers in the mail today! Thanks to the Manitoba CFO's! This only took 5 days!!
