buying guns from the classifieds?

could you please explain to me how exactly purchasing guns over this forum works?

do i need to send the seller a photocopy of my license and/or PAL? Or how does this work? Do i just send the money? Can the weapons be shipped safely? If so, will the post office know what is in the box? How exactly do i prove i can legally purchase this? Or do i even have to?

Contact the guy you want to buy from in the EE, I see you are already a member of the EE, good. Tell him you'll take the gun you want, if you're the first to respond, he'll tell you that you're the one, you then send your license info, and most likely an EMT (email money transfer). At this point, seller calls CFC, to initiate transfer, sends you a message with the ref #, you call CFC and confirm transfer. Seller then ships, thru canada post. You get gun. All is well, you both leave positive feedback for each other, everybody is happy and lives happily ever after. At least that is how the guns I've bought off the Exchange have arrived.

ETA, you don't need to scan your license, he just needs the number for the CFC
