With the current shortage of magazines in Canada has anyone bought 10 round magazines from the US and shipped them over? Maybe Google has steered me wrong but I don’t see why this can’t be done but also don’t want to end up on a list of some sort…

The exporter must be licensed (by the U.S. government), the manufacturer must be licensed (by the U.S. government), and the export must be reported (to the U.S. government). Beyond that, the exporter must be allowed by the manufacturer to make the export.

CBSA seems to arbitrarily cease packages with ANYTHING firearm related inside. They recently held magazine baseplates for over 2 months! I had to open a case to expedite the release.

If you take a look at what you are interested in and then go to the special filter you will see a selection for "available outside USA.". I'm assuming this is what everyone is referencing.

This is exactly how you know what they can ship outside of the USA. The filters are on the left side of the screen - mag capacity, make, ship outside USA - that kind of thing.

For anyone else looking

Just curious, for a 20-Round PMag, how do they know it's ok to ship to your country?
I don't think this would be legal in Canada, unless it's pinned.

BTW, I tend to get my mags through IRG. They will pin them appropriately at no charge.

Brownells has shipped me magazines. You can select the option on the website to show what can be exported without additional permits.
