Buying lead shot for shotgun???????????

Hit your local Gun Club and ask if you can re-claim some. Likely TONS of it the ground. It's as easy as shoveling up a pail full of dirt, seperate the shot from the dirt. The shot may be a tad oblong rather than round but it won't affect your trap loads much if at all.

A lot easier said than done. Last summer I used a whisk broom to sweep the shot into piles big enough to scoop with a teaspoon into a small bucket. I ended up with about 20 lbs of shot and dirt, then used a gold pan to separate the shot from the dirt and sand. After all was said and done, I think I would rather buy the shot.
Relative to the original question; at least some clubs buy shot in bulk for their members and sell it by the bag to their members.

We're looking at a large scale reclaiming concept at the club, and then selling the shot to club members.

There's no place like home

Whats a cheap place that I can order lead shot for reloading shot shells?
