Buying magazines on ebay?

Are we allowed to purchase magazines from US sources? I didn't think this was permitted, but they specifically mention selling and shipping to Canada.

Is this offside?

This has any info on importing parts/guns from the US covered.

I am not expert on it, but from what I understand as long as it is not any of the following:
barrels, slides, cylinders, bolts, frames and receivers
and the order is under $100, its fine

As long as the exporter is licenced, and does the paperwork, you're golden.

I just received 3 x Glock 17 ten round mags from Brownells. Had to pay HST and customs handling fee, so $29 x 3 and $20 in taxes / fees.

I was looking at a listing for a couple 10rd mags... listing said it was available to Canada. I was thinking the same thing. Whether this guy has any type of licence to export them, unless the <$100 loophole means they can ship without any type of licence? Maybe I will ask the seller and see what he says.

It has been said here dozens of times: There is NO $100 loophole. The $100 limit only applied to licensed exporters. Not your average schmo like us.

Unless this guy who has the Ebay auction is a licenced exporter, then it is ok. I don't need them anyway.
