Buying my first handgun (22), but having trouble finding a supplier with inventory

Cabelas and Wholesale sports seem to be out of stock on the handguns i like. Every handgun i liked was "backorderable"

i.e. Ruger Mark III Hunter, Ruger 22/45, or any Ruger semi auto 22

Open to suggestions for a good 22 target plinker, and who might have them in stock.

From reading the forums, the Ruger seems to have a great reputation for 22 handguns. I shot a ruger and a buck mark camper and liked the Ruger the best.

Much better stores than those ^ around... who have stock. Everyone seems to be going for the M&P 22 these days.

I'm buying a .22 this winter and I"m going with the M&P. I watched about 50 youtube videos and heard some good recommendations for it.

Theres a couple rugers for sale on the site here, look into one of those if they are still available. BTW, I love my Mark III

I have the GSG 1911 and my wife has an M&P22 we are quite happy with both and are way cheaper to shoot then there big brothers.

Davester32 did you find one? Rugers are rock solid and will last you a lifetime, MkII or MkIII or 22/45, all are great.
