I'm not sure what the laws are for bringing this into the country but I do know that most companies ship UPS and they charge brokerage frees and by the time you pay the taxes it sometimes is cheaper or the same to buy in Canada.
if you're near the border as I am you could have it shipped to a company in washington like TSB shipping in pt roberts and bring it across yourself, I do this with camera equipment, never have to pay taxes on small items either coming back
