I just imported a gun through Questar, they make it very easy. It took 7 weeks for me to get the gun in my hands.
+1 for Questar. I imported though them and they were very helpful and patient as I asked about 1 billion questions.

As far as using a drivers license to buy a pistol... I believe it has to be a US drivers license as well. Because when they phone in to do a background check with the FBI (I think) I doubt a canadian license will work. I miss living at home. Nothing better than having less resrictions on barrel length, ability to carry, seeing a gun you want and being able to buy it in 15 min, shooting it in the country (unless posted), and walk out with it that day. I hated buying my Kimber here, hand over 1700 cash and get a piece of paper, and wait 8 days to get it. Where is the instant gratification in that?

How much does Questar charge for that?

They Charge $150.00. So it depends on the price of the gun if it is worth it, for me the US price with shipping and this fee added was still alot cheaper.
