I am buying a used Browning Citori XT Trap O/U with adjustable comb, floating/adjustable rib and kick-off. Will have a chance to shoot a couple of rounds with it at the range.
How do I check that the gun is ok? For example I've heard it could be problems with the floating/adjustable rib.
How to check the bore?
Anything else to pay attention to?
Any tips will be appreciated

Be sure the gun locks up tight ,check for movement in the hinge when the gun is both open and closed ,the break down lever should be some what right of center ,check the comb for tightness .kick-off is a beretta gimmick the xt trap should have gra-coil adjustable pad system also I am not aware of an adjustable rib on the xt trap however it will be a floating rib .

Thank you, rembolt.
I am not 100% sure that it is XT Trap but I do know it is Citori and has adjustable comb, floating rib, and adjustable Gra-Coil kick off.

You can view the features and specs for the xt trap by going to the browning site click on firearms scroll down to historic firearms then scroll down until you find that model .
