Looking to buy a quality semi rimfire.

Looking at those 2 10/22 clones. Is the 200ish $ difference worth it?

Not looking at competetion yet, target and hunting, but in a few years who knows....

what's your take on those 2 rifles? None are available locally so i can't handle/play with them...

I was looking at bxr reviews and they get terrible reviews as far as accuracy goes. The Shrike LDR was on my radar and it gets great reviews for accuracy. The shrike was/is the obvious choice of the two IMO. That said, I went and bought a 1022 Target Tactical today on sale for $549 to customize into my long range plinker.

If I was in ur boots Id buy a complete gun from Dlask with a Kidd trigger. Theyre canadian and been around. I own and have built several guns with their parts and all are incredibly reliable and extremely accurate. I shoot at a fair number of competitions and havent seen anyone weilding either of your mentioned guns. Last competition had a KYL rack at 50 yards with four targets, Starting at 1",3/4",1/2", and 1/4" and then back to the beginning. Only two rifles cleaned this stage, a left handed Vudoo and a Dlask Kidd gun. So accuracy is not a problem. I personally wouldnt get too wound up in unconfirmed bragging by an unproven company with lots of quality issues. Do what you want but I know where Id spend my money!!

I would go with either Dlask or Grey Birch - they’re both Canadian companies with great products. I have both and don’t think you could go wrong with either company.
